The
South Wales group, until this year, has been relatively small in
size/members compared with the other regional areas. 2005 saw a hand
full of meets in and around the Bridgend area where we went for
"spirited" drives around the mountain and coast roads,
finishing off with a good dose of pub grub. Unfortunately, 2/3 of that
group have now bought ladies cars and therefore wont be allowed to
attend the meets ;) (you know who you are...)
2006 will hopefully be more of the same and on a more regular basis. I'm
hoping to get a monthly meet up and running and for the South Wales
group to make a presence at the major shows throughout the year. As much
as it pains me to say it, it'd be nice to se some Welsh people
present... it is their area after all.
Once everyone's cars are up and running again (read
"everyone's" as "my") I'll look to set a date for
future monthly events. Failing that, the first big event will be the
Llandow track day in March - no excuses for you lot to not come to that
one...
