The Scottish Group are still relatively new.  We only had a handful of meets that took place during 2005 – the first one being the meet that we held at Doune Hill Climb, where Dave P (RR Member) was competing – he went on to win the championship!  We also attended the KnockHill Hot Hatch days, I was unable to attend the first day, due to my car breaking down the day before – god damn French cars!  The second day was amazing, with the cars and the club getting a lot of attention.  But maybe next time someone should arrange the parking a little better – me! (Sorry guys.)

With more and more Scottish members using the forum on a daily basis, we are hoping for this year to be much better with much more events and meets taking place on a regular basis, as soon as the weather gets a little better, (we should be ready for the first meet around May or June then ;-) j/k) we'll get something organized. It would also be nice if we could get some more rallyes onto the motorsport scene (that's what they were made for after all) with various beginner's events like auto-tests, sprints and hill-climbs.  Also, with the large volume of members there could be a possibility of some private track action is anyone is interested, for more information on these check for updates within the Scottish section of the forum.

We'll be looking to have regular meets/drives where owners and enthusiasts of all cars will be welcome, Ideally we need a location that suits as many people as possible as we have not found one yet.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Not only is this section dedicated to meets, You will also be able to find out local information such as recommended garages, shops and driving routes if you fancy a spirited drive, after all we do have some of the best roads in the country, if not the world!
